I had brake inspection done because another competitor told me my brakes were worn and needed replacing so I took it to my local dealership and they said my brakes were fine. I appreciate the honesty in which they have.

Catalytic converter purchased and replaced by Tacoma Subaru failed after one year.
I had my catalytic converter replaced by Tacoma Subaru in August 2023. In November 2024 my engine light came on. I went to Tacoma Subaru and was informed that my catalytic converter needed to be replaced. The company Tacoma Subaru bought the part from had gone out of business and it took two weeks to track down the warranty, figure out repair options and pricing. This Subaru dealership has greatly improved its maintenance program. I had issues in the past with less than good service, from the service writer to the technician that performed my car clutch replacement. They had my vehicle for over a month to complete repairs. Total cost was $2,000. I've had it less than 24 hours and it's driving just as rough as when I brought it in. They didn't test drive it at all before returning it to me? They're completely incompetent? They just scammed me for a substantial amount of money? Who can say. Take your car anywhere else but here.

I will never purchase a car from this dealership again, their finance department sucks and they sell you a lot of add ons/ try to take advantage. I should have been more careful but still very predatory behavior.

Took my Subaru in for routine oil change. Staff was prompt, polite, friendly, and explained exactly what would happen. They got me when inspection and oil change was finished, went over findings, and sent me on my way in an expeditious manner. If you purchased an extended warranty from this dealership, be certain that you know what you are purchasing. The finance manager outlined everything that the "Premier" package included, which essentially was bumper to bumper. I chose to not purchased the full package, but just the 6 year mechanical breakdown premier coverage. I just got a brand new battery and there is already corrosion all over the "new" battery! There is no way a new battery should look this way! I also had an appointment to get an oil change and it took over 2 hours to get my oil changed despite the fact that I had an appointment! No fun walking out to a Flat Tire. A huge metal bolt punctured the sidewall. My Subaru dealership put on the spare, then, offered options for repair. I chose the "shaved" new tire which saved me lots of money.

This is my 2nd vehicle purchased over the years at Tacoma Subaru. Our sales rep.-Jontae McHenry- was a an A+ salesperson. He was able to explain the Bells & Whistles on the 2020 Subaru Outback Touring model we purchased. My complaint is that the facility doesn't have an elevator to get to the lower level where the bathrooms are. The paperwork is still a real nightmare. Therfore we need food for those of us who are hanging around doing paperwork.

The lady technician was thorough and professional. No charge for the detail work and sound advice for work needed after the next 5,000 miles. God Bless you all and thank you so much!😊

Frequent service blunders. We've for service last week and despite having it scheduled for 3+weeks they didn't have a required part in stock, but didn't know this until after I had dropped off my car. I wasted several hours getting my car there and back and spent $10 in tolls that I wouldn't normally have, to get there and back. Now I'll have to spend several hours this week coming to rescheduled appointment. This is not the first time I've had a similar service blunder at this site.

They said that they weren’t able to reach the brakes to replace them, and it would be a weeks worth of repairs for $3,000. After an extensive search I finally tracked down the car I wanted. Unfortunately the previous owner had somewhat neglected the overall condition. The maintenance was kept up to date but the paint/ body had a few rough spots. Marlon (my advisor) walked thru all the repairs that the body shop would take care of and then helped out with the paperwork. I’m really looking forward to picking it up once the repairs are made.

The quickly addressed me upon arrival and laid out what was going to be accomplished and in what timeframe. The Service department staff (especially Darrell Adams) continues to provide excellent customer service.
Darrell helped schedule my 30,000 mile service for my Ascent. Darrell also made sure that the recall parts, due on my Ascent, were available and completed during this same service.
Recommendation: Competitor's have their technicians take photos of parts being removed & replacement,new parts being installed. Photograph of the undercarriage of the car is a fantastic idea. Photograph any areas of concern and discuss with customer.

I ordered parts online from them on 6/06/22. They reply some of the parts are on backorder and are going to arrive in late August. I follow up with an email in August (no answer from email) and called them. Finally, some answer parts of my order are still in back-order and some are going to be shipped out within a couple of days. After a few weeks of waiting nothing shows up. I called them again. I was told they would call me back. I haven't heard from them again. Horrible customer service no communication the worst dealership ever.

Received a interior detail for $220 and my carpet still had visible dirt and my windshield was worse after the detail; it was smeared and covered in residue with whatever was used to clean it, unfortunately I wasn’t pleased with their service. Overpriced and not as professional as I assumed a Dealership would offer. Definitely won’t refer a friend to this establishment, I’d rather refer someone that I dislike, for revenge. My car is clean, I have no kids or pets…..so I expected a restoration cleaning with shampooing etc…. I just wish my detail experience was better.

Ran my credit without my permission and I paid cash for the car. Purchased on 3/15/22 and was supposed to be ready the next day but wasn’t until 3/18/22. Still no license plate. My last live chat with Brea today said to stop by anytime to pick up the plates but they still don’t have them so if I hadn’t questioned it, that would have been another waste of my time. It’s the worst experience I have ever had with a dealership!

I like the fact you have one person that is assigned to you and that’s who explains things start to finish. Additionally they don’t push services on you you don’t need.

He even went out of his way to find another 2022 crosstrek (which are hard to find right now) after my wife wasn’t happy with the color of the interior. My service advisor, Matt, was wonderful and really looked after his customers. He was quick but thorough.

Went in for an oil change and inspection. I went to the quick service area, not the standard area. I did not have an appointment. I waited in their quick service waiting room for about 40 minutes. They also washed the Outback.
